 Richard F. Borch, Ph.D., M.D.Purdue UniversityDr. Borch is the Head of the Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology and is also Professor of Medicinal Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology. He trained first at Columbia for his Ph.D., then at Harvard for as a postdoctoral fellow and then at University of Minnesota for his M.D. He is a leader in the medicinal chemistry of prodrugs and their application to targeting cancer. His early publications on hypoxia activated prodrugs have served as a foundation for the field. He has published over 100 papers.  |
